C-Series Gold Ivory Card

I used this card to show off my twin great-niece's then framed it to give to their grandparents. The cards are wonderful for sharing that special moment in time.

F-Series White Linen Gold Foil

This was a picture that was taken at my nieces wedding in June. The flowers were flowers that she gave me to wear at the wedding. I framed them in a shadow box. This is a wonderful way to remember that special day. This is also a great memento for parents and grandparents.

Shadow Effect

I used a pale pink gold foil card with a white mat. To give depth to the design I cut a strip of cardboard and glued it to about 1/4" in from all sides of the oval then I glued the mat to the card, centering it in the oval. Then I glued the design in and added more cardboard more strips around the oval to make it stand out, thus creating the shadow effect. You can use either single or double mat in the 8x10 frame. This is an inexpensive and elegant way to add depth to a card.

Double Mat with Design on Velvet

I sewed the design out on velvet and used a the large oval card with a mat and then used a double mat in a 8 x 10 frame.  Use Solvy on top to the velvet to prevent the velvet from peeking through the stitches. Also use more vibrant colors if using a dark velvet so they stand out more.
