Free Digital Designs

PGS Specialties Free Designs

You  are free to download and stitch any or all of the designs, in any way you choose, on items to keep, to give as gifts or to sell.

The rights to the designs themselves remain with PGS SPECIALTIES and you may not transfer them to another party without first getting the permission from me nor may you sell them in any form.  All I ask is that you not share the designs. Please give my web site address and let them download their own designs. I will be sharing more designs, so please bookmark the site.

The border designs were digitized using the Viking Cross-stitch program. I made these for bell pulls for a dollhouse and also the scroll  rug.  The bell pulls have a lot of trimming in them, but it goes pretty quickly.  You can clip two threads at once.  (The beginning of one clip and the end of the other.)

For the rug I used 3 layers of tearaway, two hooped and one under the hoop.  I sewed the borders and the rug on a light linen look fabric.  The border files can be cut and sewn and Jewelry trim can be used for the ends of the bell pulls.

I have them in .PES format and also the cross-stitch format of .krz. If you need a different format for your machine, you can convert by using a conversion program.  There are several listed for sale and for free at http://www.annthegran.com

Buying, selling, trading or transferring copies of these designs is a violation of copyright law.

Copyright Information: Please note that all of the instruction, templates, free designs and the pdf files that I have placed on my web site are copyrighted. They were designed for your own personal use in an effort to help you to be able to create a more professional card. If you would like to share the files please forward my web site, so they may download the files directly. These files are not to be used in any kits or in any classes with out my prior consent.

Borders

Sew out on a tight weave material like thin linen or I have also used 22 ct. cross-stitch material.  After you have sewn out the designs, cut them out evenly between each design and fold over the edges near the stitching and iron.  I use a piece of card stock and press the fabric over the card edge to get a nice straight crease.  Sew on binding or ribbon depending on the width of the bell pull.  You can find bead findings at a craft store to use for the ends of the bell pulls.
