Scarfs Kits
$28. Kit includes a piece of Wash-Away Extra 12" x 60",
E-zee Aqua (Sovy) (used for laying over the yarns and ribbons to sew your grid on), 5-6 different colors of yarns and ribbons and instructions to complete scarf.
The only item you will need is the thread to complete the gridwork that is made on your sewing machine.
This is not included in the kit as everyone's choice would be different so I will leave that choice up to your own descretion.
Ideas:
- You can make a 12 x 60" scarf or a 9" x 60 and a 12" hankie. The hankies are really great for V-neck shirts or sweaters. Just fold like a triangle and place a pin in each
end and pin in the shoulder seams. They really add to an outfit.
- You can also sew a scattering of bead on the scarf by doing free motion stitching and using a large opening bead to sew randomly through the scarf.
- You can also use the extra yarns and ribbons to make fringe at each end of the scarf for added elegance.
- You can also make a scarf about 32" long after the gridwork is done twist the scarf and sew end to end and now you have a scarf that is like a cowel. This is how I like to wear my scarf's
as I don't like things around my neck and this stays put and looks elegant.
