Instructions for printing on the outside a wide card around the oval:
The download sample templet is from PrintMaster Platinum but you can use any card program to print your card.

I know this is confusing, so it might help to understand how your printer prints the pages.
Go to each page and type the page number (Page 1 on front, page 2 on page 2 , page 3 on page 3 , page 4
on back). Then on a practice sheet of paper cut to 7" wide. Tell the printer to print the outside and then go
back and print the inside to see the layout your typed page numbers are in. This should help you see what directions your paper needs to be put in the printer to print properly on your card.
This is tricky and can be confusing, so please cut some paper to 7" wide and do a few practice sheets before
you print your card. Print the outside of the card first and then print the inside last, that way it is a little less confusing..
Open your card program. (These instructions are for using PrintMaster Platinum 7.0, other card programs will be similar.
- Choose the option for brand new, then for half-fold and then finally wide.
- Go to the inside page on the bottom and type your sentiment. (See my sample: I had Merry Christmas on the top and Retirements Great on the bottom.) You may need to print out a few
samples to get the type centered correctly.
- Place your card in the printer unfolded make sure that you are printing on the outside of the card.
- Now go to file, select print. Choose setup and under paper size choose B5 182 x 257 mm. (Be sure to tell the printer to print B5 182 x 257 mm or your message will not be centered.)
Choose ok and under print range to tell the printer to print inside of the card only. (This will print
the outside of your card in the correct position without having to flip everything). I know it sounds backwards but it works, trust me.) Make sure double-sided and print instruction page are unchecked.
- Now choose print and your message will print on the second section of the card stock which is the outside of the card.

- Choose the option for brand new, then for half-fold and then finally wide.
- Your sentiment will go on this first page which is labeled front. (This is really the outside if you were making a normal card.) Now your ready to type your message being sure to center it.
- Place your card in the printer unfolded making sure that you are printing on the inside of your tri-fold card.
- Now go to to file, print. Choose setup and under paper size choose B5 182 x 257 mm. Choose
ok and under print range tell the printer to print outside of card only. Make sure double-sided and print instruction page are unchecked.
- Now choose print and your message will print on the inside bottom the the card.
(If you don't tell the printer to print B5 182 x 257 mm your message will not be centered).
